Tom Schieffer wants to run?

I think this might be a good thing, connections to Bush aside. I also wish someone would explain to me why being a pro-business Democrat is bad. Why is that the standard issue press comment when talking about a successful person considering a run as a Democrat?

Being a pro-business Dem is bad because we live in partisan times.

Yes, we're trying to get over it, but when the other side's mouthpiece is Rush "Full-of-Himself" Limbaugh, we lose track of the real target(s), and start acting like the 'tards we should be shooting at.

I don't think any of is is actually "anti-business," but I do think that "pro-business" has come to mean "a pushover for business interests," and that's an unfortunate twist in the vernacular.
