Austin Prefers Mini Donuts

Austintonians gave delicious mini-donuts the thumbs up as their favorite fair food, beating out cheese curds and corn dogs. To tell, the truth, I'm kind of surprised, I would have thought some sort of cooked meat would be more popular in Texas. But then again who can resist yummy frosting? Especially yummy fronting on a minidonut, where the proprtion of surface area to overall volume is greater. I guess that's why frosting and entire longhorn cow never caught on.

I would think Turkey Legs or at least Sausage on a Stick would make the cut.
Although, the last time I went to a concert (Willie Nelson at the Backyard), they had Sausage on a Tortilla.

Seems they're worried about stoned hippies stabbing each other with the stick part. Not a whole hell of a lot of violence to be made with a tortilla.

Evil? I'll tell you what's evil! A horrible, heartless, soulless, drinkless corporation taking over a lighthearted, fun-loving blog.

Then letting scabs replace striking writers. Scabs who then write about their myspace pages and mini-fucking-donuts.
