Charlton Heston Dies; Gun Finally Pried From Cold, Dead Hands
Yeah, that was tasteless, but at least Terry "Craddick is God" Keel is unlikely to have me locked up for saying it.

Terry Keel is not going to get anyone locked up and neither is Constable Bob Vann. Both twist the use of the law to bully people that disagree with them. They have huffed and puffed alot over the years. If they have ever won a libel suit or had someone convicted in one of their political deals, please advise. I do not remember anyone ever going down on any of their political related deals.
So TK can give up on shutting down free speech in Austin and Labuda can quit spreading Vann's gossip for him.

That's exactly when you can have my gun, McBlogger!
As for Keel, what was the Lehmberg campaign doing dragging HIM into the argument? Why tangle with him if you don't have to? I don't agree with what Vince has identified as the implications of Keel's response, but the guy's a feral pit bull, what did Fero expect?
Besides, a lot of people in this town would vote for Terry Keel for DA. Those who disrespect or underestimate him do so at their own peril. I just don't see why they chose to try to use him to attack Montford. It sure backfired, and may have lost the election for Rosemary Lehmberg.

Where are they? I know people all over and none of them, in any area of town, have anything good to say about him. Presumably, he should have support in SW but... well, let's just say there was a reason he decided not to run again.
There may have, at one point, been people that liked him. However, he's set fire to most of those bridges.
As for Fero, who the hell knows? I think he was rolling the dice and came up short. Will it cost Lehmberg the election? I don't know. I think most people don't know and don't care.

If TK was a team player and that popular SW, he would have took one for the team and ran for State Rep. this time. Instead he ran his sister-in-law, so it is certain Democrats will win all State House seats in Travis County in 2008.
If he really was a feral pit bull, we would have filed for DA as a Republican. Then again, he is a Craddick waterboy, not a true Republican Party builder. That has been the problem the whole time with him and local R's, he is out for himself and his clique only.
