Sending out an SOS

The Austin City Council is voting on some changes to the SOS Ordinance to make it easier for developers to build mega structures in the watershed. You and I know it's a case of bad idea jeans but the City Council always likes to accommodate developers whenever possible. It's largely pointless because they'll always keep asking for more and environmental stalwarts like Red Tag Betty will continue to fold up at the first sign of confrontation, not unlike a bad poker player (I'm looking at you too, Brewster).

So, make another pointless gesture and ask them to stop. Nicely.

Oh, one other piece of advice from your friendly banker... if you're in the market to buy a condo, especially downtown, ask the Realtor or the sales agent if the project they are showing you is 1028 approved. If they look at you blankly, thank them for their time and remove yourself from the building post haste. If you're hell bent on buying the thing, email me and I'll refer you to a couple of LO's who actually know how to do these.
