EXCLUSIVE! Ask A... member of the TDP staff, Brian Pendleton
We at McBlogger are all the time asking people for interviews. We let the potential interviewee know up front that our questions are sometimes a little different than what you might get from Tim Russert or that Kouric automaton. We also let them know that if they decline we'll just make something up. It's all in good fun. For us. Seriously, if you're worried (Lee Raymond!) about losing credibility because of some fake interview we posted, then you didn't have any credibility. Buck up, we at least made people laugh at you for a second instead of just hating you!
Recently we asked a dear friend, TDP's Brian Pendleton, for an interview and to our surprise he agreed under the condition that it be handled via email. He's extremely busy and we would all like to say THANKS to him for taking the time to fill this out.
McB: What's your favorite brand of condoms?
TROJANS
McB: Why?
THAT WAS THE FIRST KIND I USED.
McB: What do you think about Travis County's performance during the last cycle? Awesome or Best Ever?
AWESOME! TRAVIS COUNTY WILL ALWAYS PERFORM BETTER THAN THE REST OF THE STATE BECUASE OF THE DEMOGRAPHICS. WINNING ALL OF THE STATE HOUSE SEATS WAS TOTALLY AWESOME. I LOOK FORWARD TO SWEEPING ALL COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICES.
McB: Do you enjoy drinking scotch as much as I do?
I LIKE SCOTCH EVERY ONCE IN WHILE. OTHER THAN BEER, I LIKE CROWN ROYAL THE BEST.
McB: What do you think is the most important thing Democrats can do going forward to win elections in Texas?
THREE THINGS:1) BECOME PCT CHAIRS/ELECTION JUDGES
2) DONATE TO THE TDP/THEIR LOCAL CTY PARTY/CANDIDATES
3) VOLUNTEER ON CAMPAIGNS
McB: I really enjoy ice cream. Thoughts?
MY FAVORITE FLAVOR OF ICE CREAM IS CHOCOLATE CHIP
McB: Do you think there is a chance U2 and Van Halen will ever perform together?
1 IN 10,000 CHANCE (MAYBE HIGHER AND HIGHER), TOO MANY EGOS ON ONE STAGE
