David Brooks on suicide watch
So David Brooks, as part of a lame attempt to be funny, thinks he might be tempted to kill himself because of boredom caused by the Democratic Presidential candidates.
I wish he was serious. It's not that I'm mean, it's that he's a gimp and all he'd be doing is putting himself out of the world's misery. I don't think anyone would miss him, save maybe Ann Coulter for whom Brooks is something of an intellectual counterpart (and really, isn't that sad enough?).
Winding Road in Urban Area thought his head-in-ass joke was in extremely poor taste. After reading their post on it, I'm inclined to agree.

Brooks is bored? Let's see, for the firstt time in history, the current frontrunner is a woman. And not just a woman, one of the most controversial women is America today, at least as far as the catagory of women without male secondary sexual charecteristics goes. And coming on strong is the first African-American to have a credible chance of winning the nomination. Brooks is bored? Somebody check his pulse, he may already be dead.
