Lauer corners Bush on Torture
This will piss you off you but you need to get over it and listen to what the man is actually saying. Please (see what you make me do? I'm asking nicely and shit!):
It happens pretty early in the segment, something about the Justic Dept clearing as legal ALL interrogation techniques used. Lauer, sensibly, asks why, if the techniques were legal, the interrogations couldn't have been done at Gitmo. The President, blustering, dodges the question.
So, when it finally comes out that we are using illegal techniques on captured 'terrorists' (at this point, I'm beginning to doubt if they are even terrorists. Seriously, remember those 'terrorists' the FBI found in Florida?) Bush is going to drop Gonzales in the grease and hope like hell he keeps his mouth shut.
Alberto, are you there pal? You need to get your documentation together because you're about to be sent to slaughter by your President.
