Dregs : Hokey Pokey with Ciro; Hezbocrats? Fuck you, Wal-Mart

  • Ciro backs out. Ciro's back in. It's like the fucking hokey pokey. Or the bunny hop. I'm tired of it
  • What would you say if I told you that one Wal-Mart's front group lackeys, Herman Cain, referred to Democrats as Hezbocrats?

But, yesterday, Herman Cain, one of the steering committee members of Wal-Mart’s front group and a well-known right-wing commentator, completely crossed the line in a column he wrote by describing Democrats who are standing up, on behalf of working families, and asking Wal-Mart to be a responsible corporation as “Hezbocrats.”

What an idiot and waht a fuck up for Wal-Mart. Click here to let them know that pisses you off. Also, check out this site... very nice

The hacks at the Austin American Stinkyman published a filthy op ed 9/2 taking Dems to task about Wal-mart bashing and not understanding the working class. What do you expect from a Dallas Morning News wannabe. This rag is so far up corporate ass. I would respond point by point, but the piece is nothing but bilge.

Anyone who calls this paper liberal must be living in a delusional universe. Bad enough they endorsed doofus in '04. The paper is increasingly publishing more conservative op ed columns and injects more right-wing terminology and talking points into supposedly straight news articles by supposedly impartial reporters. I think some of the reporters have studied at the Heritage Foundation, others are just lazy.

A few months ago, one of their field managers knocked on my door ( I've been receiving the paper for over 15 years) and asked about the service. Well, I've got to admit they rarely miss delivery, but the reason as the guy pointed out, was there are only three of us left in the neighborhood that get it. Hey AAS, are you seeing the handwriting on the wall. Their building down off South Congress is looking more and more like a tear down for condos.

Didn't this guy Cain work his way up from stocking the toilet paper aisle? Although I hate seeing more condos anywhere in Austin, in this case ..............

Although I personally detest Wal-Mart with the fury of a thousand suns and wish every multi-billionaire Walton heir would develop suppurating boils all over their body, bashing Wal-Mart is not really very politically astute. In fact, it's downright dumb unless you're in the heart of union country. 85% of the country shops there and they get amazingly high approval ratings. This is just one more instance where Republicans can say that Democrats are out of touch with Middle America. And you know what? They'd be right.
We need to pressure them to be better corporate citizens, but after the election, for Chrissakes!! We don't need to make this a campaign issue.

Actually, no one really likes Wal-Mart. Still, what I'm pissed about is them funding a front group that makes political attacks.

Wal-Mart insulted half this country with that Hezbocrat crap. Not to mention, no one really likes shopping in their repulsive stores.
