Thank you, God! Now I can die happy!

Rita Cosby, the raspy-voiced minion of Satan who caused MSNBC viewers to scramble franticly for their remotes at the end of "Countdown" has been cancelled. Her show, which devoted itself to the lurid details about missing young white women, will be replaced with sixty minutes of dead air.

I met Rita Cosby before she "got famous" when I was doing some media training in DC about 8 years ago. She was odd then (her voice and her look was strange, as they are now) and she struck me as someone who was a local player, not ready for prime time. Guess it took some people longer than me to figure that out.

I don't think the folks at MSNBC are all that smart. I think they're only now realizing that people really like Olberman.
